Hey folks,
following scenario:
Some of our Ticket Agents are also technicians. They work on technical issues either onsite or remote. For everything they do time is logged in Jira Tempo via Worklogs.
All good so far.
Now due to Data Protection and Information Security we can not give our Technicians the "View Worklogs" Permission which would enable them to see the time logged by other colleagues inside of Tempo. This excludes Team Leads as they need the permission to see what time was logged by whom.
The problem with that is that because of this, our technicians only see anonymized Worklogs inside of tickets with no further information as to what has been done. In many cases, for example if more than one technician has been working on a Ticket or for simply stand-in reasons Technicians really need to see the time logged by other technicians.
We were thinking about a custom field that copys the Worklogs and displays them inside of the ticket, but that probably isnt the smartest idea in the long run.
We need to make sure that inside of Tickets worklogs are visible with all their information but outside of that not.
Does anybody have a suggestion on what we could do to achieve that? It seems like Tempo permissions arent the key to our problem unfortunately :(
Much thanks in advance :)
Janek
