Tech task,Story appear strike off in Agile board

Hi,

   We have issues with type tech task,task they appear to be strike off in agile board in jira server. We have resolution feild .

I also see that Sprint is not started,is it because of that??

What is the way to resolve this?

You have somehow managed to put data into the resolution before you should do.

The most common mistake with this is to put the resolution field on a create or edit screen.  You should check over your config to see where the resolution field is presented to your users - the only place it should be is in a transition screen that goes from "not closed" to "closed"

   Yes i see the resolution feild in the Create/edit screen.That might be causing the issue.

It will be.  When the resolution field is put in front of the user, it gets set, there's no way to leave it blank.  So if it's on create or edit screens, anyone creating or editing the issue will resolve it!

Agreed with @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- . If there is a resolution set for particular issue type. The issue will be Strike off. The resolution will be chosen while closing the issue. You can edit the transitions which are connected to Green Colored( Done, Close, and etc.) and add a screen with "Resolution" field.
