Hi I am managing a project for an outside company and I have people in this company who are assigned specific tasks.
I would like them to be able to see those tasks and comment on those tasks associated with the Epic, but i don't want them to have access to the entire project.
I build this project as a blank new project.
Thanks
To regulate which users can view specific issues within the project, consider utilizing Issue Security Schemes.
When delegating tasks to external users, ensure that the security level for these tasks aligns with their required accessibility. Simplify this process by establishing a workflow transition that automatically configures the security level for externally visible issues.
Rather than granting external users unrestricted project entry:
- Assign them to a designated Custom Role (e.g., 'External Collaborator').
- Configure permissions so that this role is limited to viewing assigned or involved issues (e.g., as assignee, reporter, or watcher).
Set up notification schemes so that external users only receive notifications for issues they're involved in (assigned, mentioned, or watching),
ensuring they are kept updated without having visibility into the entire project.
Let me know if this helps.

In permission scheme we can’t restrict user to access some issue in project.
but you can do try to achieve this using issue security schemes by setting security level on issues.
