Are you having any particular issues or questions related to some of your products? From the description it seems you're referring to Entitlement ID (which replaced SEN).
These ID numbers are usually needed when submitting or communicating through Support tickets. Official support channels are also used whenever you're having some technical issues and assistance is provided from Atlassian staff. On the other hand, Community is usually supported by (as the name says, community) other Atlassian users/customers and sometimes Atlassian representatives may jump in as well.
