Sub-tasks in the among projects

Kevin June 7, 2013

In Jira, is it possible to create a sub-task in another project? e.g.

let's say I'm in A project, and I created a ticket, A-1000. In this ticket, I want to create 2 sub-tasks, 1 should go to B project, and the other should go to C project.

Then, I can jump over to B/C projects, and I see the sub-task showing up in my list of issues.

I know Jira in its current state can't do that.

Is there a plugin or some sort that can make this happen?

Thanks

No, that is not possible. Even with a plugin, it might have some side effects because of the change in issue key etc.

You might want to look at linking and leverage it using a plugin instead!
