Hi @Martina Bassi ,
Trust you are well.
As outlined by @Fazila Ashraf there're no hierarchies in Jira for Releases. So, you might keep it flat and put a bit of discipline to assure yourself and your dev team mark issues for minor and major releases simultaneously so you gain the visibility you want.
If you really up to the hierarchy of releases the only option is Marketplace Apps. For e.g. in our Release Management App we allow to go up and down from Fix Version, namely:
It also has a Release Management panel for the Issue View so you will be able to see the hierarchy from your issues.
Try it out!
Cheers,
Yuri.
Can you detail the use case for this ask?
You can create versions/releases explicitly calling the full release names. What is the problem you face with that approach?

Thank you!
Yes, I know, but I would like to have both the "container" release and the specific release. The container one is will be use for the release goal field, the specific for the fix release.
The hierarchy model is just a good and ordered visualization

hmm not built in but you can explore third party apps for this feature. An example app is https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211591/versions-hierarchy?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
