We use a quick filter with a query for "fixVersion = earliestUnreleasedVersion()" in our Story Map with the intention to filter for all stories in that version. This works, but only when that version-lane is the last one of all shown lanes, e.g. the order has to look like this:
- Version 7.5.0
- Version 7.6.0
- Version 7.7.0
- Version 7.8.0
- Version 7.9.0
- Version 7.10.0
- Version 7.4.0 --> tickets of that version are shown, but when that version-lane is placed on top of the story map, then tickets of version 7.10.0 are shown;
That's quite uncomfortable because we expect the tickets that are next ones to be released at the top of the StoryMap not at the bottom.
Is there a way to get the tickets from the current release/version placed at the top lane of the story map?
Thanks for your support.
Hi @Eisenblätter_ Karin
Sorry to hear you are having issues with this quick filter query. We have managed to replicate this instance and have identified a bug.
A ticket has been created for this on our backlog, and we will reach out to let you know once this has been resolved.
It seems this only occurs when using "earliestUnreleasedVersion()". In the meantime a workaround could be to change the JQL to "fixversion = 3" (with 3 being your version number)
Apologies for the inconvenience. If you have any questions or there is anything else I can help you with in the meantime, don't hesitate to reach out.
Thanks,
Caitlin

Hi @Eisenblätter_ Karin -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
You may want to check with that addon vendor's documentation to learn how to do this. If they do not describe how, please consider checking in with their support team.
Best regards,
Bill
