My team uses Next Gen Jira (cloud).
I would like to restrict who can add and remove issues from a sprint. Specifically, I would like to make it such that only the project manager (me) is able to do this. Is there a way to do this in Next Gen?
Thanks,
Will Portman
Hello @will.portman
Unfortunately you cannot set permissions for NG projects, permission scheme is not available.. You can only give roles. The NG projects are easier to use than classic ones. So if it's important for you to give different permissions for the users, you should switch to an old project type.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
You need to set the permissions for “Manage Sprints” to meet your needs.

How do I do this in Next Gen? Based on this documentation, it looks like there are only 3 roles (Administrator, Member and Viewer) and that all Members get "Manage Sprints" permission by default? https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/overview-of-permissions-in-next-gen-projects-959283605.html
My team needs to be Members because they need to be able to create and edit issues, which Viewers can't do.
