Sprint has started as scheduled on Monday but forgot to start sprint in Jira. I dont want to change date in backlog but would still like to start sprint so i can complete it as per the process. Can we backdate a sprint?
Hey Kruit,
Yes, when you start a Sprint you should be able to select a date/time in the past as the start date.
Tyler
I am able to select a backdate but dont see any button to start the sprint. Below is what i see. I am Admin for this project.

Hey Kruti,
There are a couple reasons that may happen:
Do you already have a Sprint running? You may not be able to start a new Sprint if your previous Sprint is still running (alternatively you can enable the ability to have multiple Sprints running at the same time).
Even though you have admin privileges you may not have the permission to start a Sprint.
Hope this helps,
Tyler

@Tyler Brown I ran into the same issue and I'm able to start the Sprint, but most of the tasks/stories are already in Done status so they are not reported as part of the sprint anymore. I can only see tasks/stories in ToDo or InProgress state. Is there a way to sync back all the work that has been done during the sprint?
