Sourcetree - Invalid Code Signing Certificate

creg2019 December 9, 2022

Hello,

I don't know if the community is the right place for my problem.
But I hope that maybe one of the moderators will pass the info to Atlassian. The code signing certificate of the Sourcetree application (Windows) is no longer valid. This expired on 11/28/2022. Consequently, I get corresponding error messages on my system. Even if I download the latest version of the application, the certificate is invalid.

Regards

It sounds like your cert has expired and you need to install a new one.  See https://confluence.atlassian.com/sourcetreekb/manually-importing-root-code-signing-certificates-windows-744721444.html

Thank you for your suggested solution. However, in my opinion, this does not fix the problem I observed, as Atlassian failed to either sign the executable with a valid code signing certificate or use a timestamp server during the signing process.

Hopefully I have now found the right place to report my problem:
