We used to be able to input the JIRA issue number, e.g. ABC-123 and the link was automatically created to the specific JIRA issue. Does anyone know when and why we must now input JIRA in front of it?
All of our prior JIRA references are broken and we really didn't want to text JIRA in front of it. It now appears as JIRA ABC-123 and ABC-123 is the link.
Is there any other workaround for this? Did Atlassian know that when they made this change, all existing references are broken?
I believe this was done a few months back, but has cropped up more for us as users are now encountering content with no links.
BTW - we don't want to use the JIRA issue macro to one issue as we don't need the status, type, summary, etc.
Hi,
Talking with a Confluence support engineer looks like this funcionality has been removed from Confluence. Please raise a support ticket at https://support.atlassian.com, so we'll be able to provide you a more specifc answer and a possible workaround for this.

That's disappointing. I've input a ticket. But,
It's quite frustating that Atlassian keeps removing useful features.
