Simple Scripted Validator CustomField Value Check Script

Hello

I would like to add validator to myu workflow using Simple Scripted Validator.

End user will fill out “Planned start date” custom field while creating issue, after that we will check if this custom field value (“Planned start date”) in working hours(08:00 - 17:00) or not. By the way, we will also check Change Priority custom field selected value is Major Change or Standard Change.

If the “Planned start date” custom field value between 08:00 - 17:00 and Change Priority custom field value is Major Change or Standard Change, our workflow will continue to Manager approval status, if not, user will be able to continue next status without any approval.

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Hi @sezer_ozturk

Could you please specify the field type you use for the Planned start date? I am requesting this so I can try to create a sample code.

I am looking forward to your feedback.

Thank you and Kind regards,

Ram
