Showing status on backlog make each row bigger, why

Please look at the image. when we show the status for each issue on backlog, it make the row bigger.

Can we show it on one on 1 line? what can we do? :\

Yes, this is a known problem with Jira, particularly when the project is set to "company-managed" configuration. However, I was able to find a workaround for this by creating a browser extension to display the items.

I tested on my local site and the fields added to the card layout for the backlog will always add an additional line. Currently, it’s not possible to change this to show all in one line.

There was a feature request a while ago suggesting this, but it was closed informing that there was no plan to implement it on Jira Software:

• Display Card Layout additional field in 1 line in Backlog View

However, there are two other feature requests where it’s currently on Gathering interest:

• Add functionality to customize which info can appear on the first line of the card layout backlog view
• As a PM, I want to show extra fields on each backlog task without taking up 2 lines per task
