Show Scrum backlog items in Dashboard Gadget

Scrum projects have no status called "Backlog" by design, as the backlog is automatically calculated.    And this is fine and how it should be, but...

How can a user then display a breakdown of issues that includes the number currently in the backlog in, for example, a Dashboard Gadget?

Hi @Richard Cross ,

available gadgets are available here https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver/gadgets-for-jira-applications-939939037.html

As you can see, at sprint level, you can use Sprint Burndown Gadget and Sprint Health Gadget and thereis not a specific gadget for backlog.

My suggestion is to create your own filter (example : project=PROJECTKEY and Sprint is empty) and list the results in a gadget using Filter Results gadget.
