Should I use JIRA cloud or server?

I am a freelance technical writer using JIRA to track my tasks for multiple clients. I am using the server version but wonder which is best. I just don't want to lose the tasks!

1) I use SyncToy to backup my desktop files every day to Dropbox. Which folders should be included in order to do that? Or is it that cut and dried, if I stayed on the server version?

2) Is the cloud more secure? Is there any version control; probably not. I am using Office 365 so have used cloud apps.

3) Would it be hard to migrate my tasks and workflows/schemes to the cloud?

Sorry for the newbie questions.

Ken

It depends on your needs.. I suggest to read those pros and cons of using both...

and then ask yourself the question again :)

When you migrate you should not lose any data, but you might loose something is using specific extension that is not available on cloud.
