Trying to get a clue how can I change the dropdown list of filters to just simple links on board. So I can filter issue by an assignee or by custom filter without a need to type a name of an assignee or filter in the dropdown
@Ivan Kononenko are you on a new release? Jira 7.10 had some big changes in the look and feel, and I believe that quick filters are now only accessible via the drop down. I'm still researching to confirm.
Yes, I'm working with the new Release. I hope they will back the possibility to add quick filters as button links in further releases.

@Ivan Kononenko. Are you on Jira Software or Jira Core?
If you are on Jira Software, it is possible that you do not have admin rights to the board you are working with.
If you are on Jira Core, there currently isnt anyway to customize the board with different quick filters.

Hi @Kimberly Deal _Columbus ACE_
I do have admin permissions and I'm using Jira software.
And I can customize my quick filters (I mean add a new one, delete, update in settings etc.). The problem is that I would like to change the layout of how they appearing on my board.
I would like to have an access to them not via the drop-down list. I want them to appear as the links buttons on top of my board.

@Ivan Kononenko
You can add custom filters to the boards quick filters, if you are on Jira Software. Assuming you have rights to configure the board, go to the board and in the upper right there will be a button it could say Configure Board or be under the ... menu, depending on your version, Server vs Cloud.
On my Cloud instance it's here:
Select Board Settings and you will be in to the board configurations
Select the Quick Filters on the left menu, add your name, JQL statement and Add the filter. It will now show up as a button at the top of the board.

@Kimberly Deal _Columbus ACE_ Hi and really sorry for responding, so late.
I did as you recommend but the filter appears as drop-down item in quick filter, not as a link button on top of the page.
