Scriptrunner field validation exception - user not found in system

Hi guys - I've got a weird issue that has occurred with users whose accounts have been previously deleted, then have rejoined the company (where we used to delete accounts, rather than deactivate them back in JIra 4 days)

A particular user on the helpdesk keeps having this error thrown whenever scriptrunner listener triggers on an event:

The username is actually his email address.  Any ideas?

Hi Scott,

Do you use a custom listener or one of the Script Runner built in ?
