please supply me with a method (script) that I can use to export Work hours on a daily/weekly/monthly basis from Jira per Engineer.
Need User / Issues / work Hours per Issues per day / Components (or new fields)
This should be for ALL users and ALL projects, so not individual API calls per issue.
I need a script that gives me a FULL dump which I can load another System.
Hi @Sujata ,
Clockwork Automated Time Tracking & Timesheets Pro or Free provides you with the ability to export the Worklogs in CSV format and you can feed this file to another system.
The Timesheet report allows you to filter all Worklogs using a different range of components for different users and different Issues. You can then export using different formats as shown:
Please see our documentation on Timesheets for more details.
I would be happy to give you a demo, please reach out here.
Hi @Sujata ,
Welcome to the community!
What you are asking is in fact relatively complicated to do, as there's a lot of caveats and edge cases when it comes to time tracking – especially when you need the data to be exact.
Instead of writing a script or using one that someone else has written, I would recommend you look at the wealth of apps on the marketplace that are available for use-cases like this.
Hope that helps,
Oliver
