Hi everyone. I'm very much a beginner with Jira and have created my first scheduled automation rule. What I want to do is set the first run date for a scheduled rule, instead of settings the "run rule every..." detals. It only lets me set the frequency but not the first time I would like to have the scheduled rule run. An example is in the screenshot below where I have setup a "every 3 months" schedule but I don't want it to run for the first time in December but instead start in October. Any suggestions on how to achieve this?

Thanks!

Hi @Dave Bunt -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I believe there is a suggestion to add a start date/time to the basic scheduler, but until that is added have you tried to add a CRON expression and select the specific months you want to run the rule?

Kind regards,
Bill
