Hi JIRA admin,
My company has JIRA account under Client's JIRA server, while we also like to use JIRA cloud version for our own projects. Is it possible to use the same user account, but for two different companies? To be more specific:
Company A - JIRA server version - Project A
Company B - JIRA cloud version - Project B
All you need to do is set up the same login on both sides. They're still different accounts and you'll need to log into them separately, as they're on two different servers and there's nothing linking them (unless you use google accounts), but there's no reason you can't use the same user id and password.
Hi Nic Brough, thanks for reply. Would you explain more about the "link"? My company is using google enterprise service so we can all login with google accounts.

How are the accounts linked? How does server 1 know that "nic" on server 1 is the same as "nic" on server 2?
