The new "modern" and "swag" 'feature' of jira ticket - bloody sticky comment that eats up the space when looking and the description or any other IMPORTANT info
AS IF jira is a bloody social network ! as if comment is the most important thing in the ticket ! IT IS NOT!
How do I get back to most logical and convinient way of comments only shown when needed - at the ticket bottom ?
Would you please post an image of what you are seeing?
When I look at issues views (pop-up, side bar, and single issue view) in both Company-managed and Team-managed projects, my description field shows in the default location at the top of the view with comments at the bottom. Has one of your admins perhaps changed the layouts or included some marketplace addon app?
And when you have suggestions for Atlassian products, you may look here to review current ones or to add a suggestion: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa
Kind regards,
Bill
Bill,
Cannot post screenshots, sorry, such are rules.
I'll double check with admins but this looks like related to this https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/How-to-disable-sticky-comment-bar/qaq-p/2501059
and this
https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiracore/preparing-for-jira-9-8-1224771831.html
And this new 'feature' is enable by default so I'll need to ask admins to turn it off with com.atlassian.jira.commentStickyFooter
Because I never asked for this and find this really useless and irritating - jira ticket is not a facebook feed for me to have this floating all the time.
