Good afternoon!
In team-managed projects, when creating a new issue type, there was a lock in the top right corner where we could restrict that issue type to a certain role by default.
Now, there is no lock anymore!
Was there any Jira update removing this option; or is there any new solution for this?
I tried everything as Jira administrator, and it's quite frustrating you can't do this anymore?
I understand there is a possibility to restrict the issue while creating it or restrict the issue itself once created; but I don't understand how there is no way to restrict issue type by default anymore?
Any help/explanation/workaround will be greatly appreciated!
I'm going insane!
Thanks a lot!
Kind regards!
Hi @Nenad Niksic , so after creating the issue you don't see the lock? What about for existing issue types? The image below reflects where I see the lock.
Hey!
Thanks for the reply!
Yes, that's correct! Forgot to mention!
For previously created issue types, the lock is there and working; however, when I create a new issue type, it's not there, and I can't figure out why?
How is this possible and what to do?
Please help!
Thanks a loot!

I am unsure why you are experiencing this. I just tested in one of my instances and it works. It is possible that some update has resulted in your issue. You might check if this occurs in other TMP projects. I also recommend contacting Atlassian support.
