Restrict who can edit a board's quick filter

Hi Experts,

I recently encouter a werid experience where I thought (reading from the JIRA Support Guide):

To configure the board (user case: Cloud version, Company Managed board), and any of its settings, you must be either:

• a project administrator for the location of the board

• a board administrator for the board itself

I'm not the board administrator but am the project administrator, so I expect to be able to control the location of the board, and not editing the quick filter for the board itself.

Today I went into the board quick filters and found that I could edit the quick filters. I then ask another person that is this project administrator and she could do the same.

Any thoughts why I could do that?

Hi @James Chan ,

as you said a board could be customized by a Project Admin/Board Admin. Swimlanes are part of that configuration. There's no way to prevent a project admin to edit quick filters.
