Remove watcher from confluence page created by form

I'm using confiform to create a form that has the "anonymous form" and "Bypass attachment upload permission" set. 

Because of this if a user uploads a file they get added as a page watcher and this is something that I would like to avoid. 

I tried the remove watcher IFTTT option described in - https://wiki.vertuna.com/display/CONFIFORMS/Handling+Confluence+auto-watch+when+the+form+has+file+fields 

But it kept failing with the error "You cannot remove a watcher from the page 'Page Name'. No view permissions on the page."

Even though I'm the one submitting the form who has edit and view access on the form.

Appreciate any help with the same

Hi

This error comes from the fact that the user does not have view permissions on the page. 

How is your rule to remove the watcher is configured?

Its an IFTTT with - Oncreated --> Remove Page Watcher option is selected --> and I've the watchers to remove as [entry._user] (have tried using the user name / ID also) but no luck.

And I've view and edit access to the page. And I'm the one submitting the form currently. So not sure of the error.

May be you are on some old ConfiForms version - https://wiki.vertuna.com/display/CONFIFORMS/Release+Notes#ReleaseNotes-Version2.15.2 

Workaround is to specify (explicitly) the page id to use or upgrade to latest

Hi Alex,

Checked the confiform version - its version: 2.18.11. which is the latest one. 

Its weird am using exactly the same IFTTT macro and settings, but it throws me that error. 

and the fact that I have edit and view priv on the space :(
