Remove small attachments from emails?

Is it possible to filter out all or small attachments from emails to Jira (e.g. anythign smaller than 3Kb).

Some people have 10-20 small icons in their email signatures and then if they reply to a Jira message on an issue, then the issue is flooded with 10-20 attachments. These attachments can confuse the issue and cause important information to be missed.

Can you stop small attachments being accepted via email?

Or is there a way to select multiple attachments at the same time to delete from an attachment?

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

When receiving requests or comments by email, currently, it's not possible to block images from signatures to be attached. 

There are feature requests suggesting improvements for that:

• Be able to remove images in mail body
• Remove e-mail signatures from incoming mail

i've successfully been able to do what you requested with automation

when

issue commented

then

delete attachment

WHEN

filename matches 

image.png

tested for a while and it works.
