Release Burn Down Chart

Sheik Mubarak June 8, 2022

I am looking at the Release Burndown Chart for a Version.  There are more than 4 completed Sprints, however the Release Burndown chart does not show the forecasts. I am seeing the following message.

"No forecast available yet

A forecast cannot be shown until at least 3 sprints have been completed"

Please help. Is there any configurations that I need to do to include the completed Sprints, so that I could see the Forecast.

Hi Sheik,

On the Release Burndown Chart page, do you see "Completed Issues"?

Hi Michael,

Yes I see Completed Issues. My question is, I have completed issues in the Past Sprints as well (OB SP 7,OB SP 8, OB SP 9, OB SP10) But the Release Burndown chart shows Sprint bar only from OB SP 10 and OB SP 11 and I am not able to see the forecasts because Jira says "A forecast cannot be shown until atleast 3 sprints have been completed"

Hi @Sheik Mubarak

Try our Great Gadgets app for Jira & Confluence. It offers a Release Burndown Burnup chart that can generate forecast based on current team progress/velocity. The gadget is based on a s filter - all you have to do is to create a filter in jira that returns the issues from your version, and you will have the chart displayed.

The app offers many other useful gadgets, for agile especially.
