Refreshing JIRA cloud dev server with JIRA cloud production server data

Deleted user Jan 16, 2018

We would like to update our free JIRA dev environment with data from production. But we don't want to get charged for the dev environment if the import of Production data includes all of our users, which then puts us over the 5-user limit for the dev environment. Is there a way around this? Or does it not even matter if we quickly delete the users that are created in dev by the import from Prod?

Thanks!

Matt

Hi Matt,

I too have same doubt here, how to clone data from production to lower envs in Jira Cloud? any steps/procedures are welcome.

Thanks,

Hi Matt,

That won't be an issue.

When importing you'll have control on which particular groups to grant application access. At first there will be one user, the one importing the data.
