Reduce amount of notification emails

Is there ANY way to bulk email notifications into digest emails without paying for some addon / plugin for JIRA Cloud ?

Alternatively i'm going to disable most notifications and only keep the most important...

Follow up question : Has Atlassian stopped developing Jira Cloud in favor of all the addon developers ?

Apparantly atlassian hasn't been able to solve this in 15!!!!! Years!! !

No, most of us do what you suggest - really sparse notification schemes.

Jira 8 (Server, not Cloud) is going to have a load of notification improvements in it, which I think will go to Data Centre too, but I don't think they're going to go to Cloud, so you won't be wasting your time with "disable most".

No Atlassian has not stopped developing Cloud.  It's never had anywhere near the flexibility of internal Server apps, and probably never will, but they continue to develop the APIs.
