we moved to JIRA recently form other tool. when we start creating issues the issue ids created like ABC-1, ABC-2 where ABC is our team name.

But I want to have issue ids created or starting from ABC-100, ABC-101 etc. is that possible

Hi Naresh,

no, this is not possible, the number is incremented from 1 on.

If you want to start your issues with 100, the only thing you can do is create 99 dummy-issues before.

Or if you are on JIRA Server there is an issuenum database field for each project that tells JIRA the next number to use. Round it up to the next highest multiple of 10

To start with 100 so we should put 10? seems I don't have access to server. Let me check with admin.

Thanks Matt

No, just round it up.  To start with 100, you need to create 99 dummies.
