For the last few days, I have been configuring a new Business Project board for my team. I am completely new to JIRA so I have spent a lot of time learning about the issue types, workflow, cloning issues, configuring the fields etc.
However, for all the time I spent on the Business Project board, I realized that I require some functionalities from the Software Project board such as having the issue type icon directly on the ticket on the board and configuring the quick filters on the board screen.
When I go to the JIRA Project Setting for my current Business Project and switch to Software Project, it completely removes all the workflows I worked on and my previous settings I had set up.
Do I have to start fresh or is there a way that I can make this migration to Software Project easier? Or do I even need to switch to a Software Project?

Go to project settings -> details and change the project type from Business to Software.
