How to select multiple issues in filter list view for a bulk change?

hpuc June 13, 2023

I am looking at an issue filter in list view. In a backlog in the list of issues shown, I can select multiple issues by ctrl-clicking them, for example in order to execute a bulk change. This does not seem to work in the issue filter list. Am I missing something or is this feature really missing?

Hi @hpuc ,

Thanks for writing in Atlassian community.

If I understand you correctly, you wanted to execute bulk update on issues navigator view (Or filter list view). Below article will be helpful to you in this case :

  • Perform a search with the required filters to produce a list of issues and select Tools > Bulk Change.

  • Bulk edit issues in the Backlog. Use Shift+select to choose multiple issues and then right-click the selected items to start the bulk change operation.

Hope this will be helpful to you !!

Yep, that's it, thanks!

As a suggestion to Atlassian: This seems to be inconsistent behavior when compared to other issue lists like the backlog. I was definitively expecting that I could ctrl-select individual issues in both cases.
