I used this guide: How to copy a version from a project to another project | Jira | Atlassian Documentation to copy over fix versions from one project to a new one that needs them. However, the issues tied to the fix versions did not get copied over. Is there a way to do this?

Hi @Aadil Patel and welcome to the community!

I'm Luka from codefortynine.

If you are willing to use a third party app, our Deep Clone for Jira can help you.

When you clone issues with Deep Clone and have Create (or un-archive) versions if necessary checked under Clone additional fieldsVersions, Deep Clone will create versions tied to the issues for you.

Hello @Aadil Patel

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Do actually want copies (new issues) in that project or do you want to move the existing issues to that project (removing them from the original project)?

The former - copy them. However, the user I was working on this for said they would move them manually, so perhaps this no longer needs to be answered. Although if there is a better solution perhaps it can come in useful if someone comes across this post in the future.
