I don't understand what you mean by "rank status".
Could you explain what you expect to happen when a status is ranked?
The two dimensional filter can already view issues based on status, so I'm totally lost on what you are looking for in there as well.

“Status” rank? I am not familiar with that. You can use “issue” ranking but assume you are already aware of that and looking fo something else. But just in case - ranking-an-issue

you can certainly use the two-D gadget to show status on one axis and another field, e.g. Priority. It seems like Priority vs. Status is what you are looking for but unsure.
