I have read many of the existing threads related to Quick Filters and am unable to find an exact answer for my issue.
Screenshot for reference (filter is checked, but issues within the 'Excluded Epics' still display)
The answer is a new bug has been created by the support team and will be addressed at some point in the future.
If you experience this issue, please watch the bug created here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-93316
Hi @Courtney Caudle I can replicate the behavior and would agree that shouldn't work like that. The Quick Filter either needs to be reset, or else the search needs to use it when that bored is loaded.
I requested Atlassian Support to weigh in, let's see where that leads.

Hi @Courtney Caudle, The board's quick filter shouldn't be applied when you load the board. This is not normal behavior; the board should load with no filters checked.
I couldn't replicate the behavior you described. Can you try accessing the board in a private/incognito window to see if the issue persists, or Test the behavior in different browsers to rule out browser-specific issues?
If the issue persists, it could be site-specific and it needs to be checked with our support team.

EDIT - I have submitted support ticket.
Thank you Abdallah.
Agree, the filter should NOT remain checked, however it does.
Thank you for your suggestion, tested and confirmed the issue occurs in both Chrome incognito as well as Microsoft Edge (which I have NEVER used before).
