Hi,
I am using Jira (v9.3.0#930000-sha1:287aeb6).
As far as I know, this is a Server Edition and there is no "node" mention in the version.
Nevertheless, I use Datacenter licenses
"License type : Commercial (Data Center)"
The end of update for Server Edition is February the 15th 2022. So I am not supposed to get updates. But, I have been able to update recently to v9.3 so, I suppose I use Datacenter Edition.
Im am now a bit confused of which edition I am usingn and if i am concerned with the end of life in 2024 or not.
Any help is welcome.
Thank you.
There is not really any "server" or "data center" version - they're running the same code.
A data center install should be done a little differently to a server install, but you can actually stick a DC licence on a server and you'll get everything DC does (except the cluster, you'll need to do quite a lot of messing with the installation to make it suitable to be a node).
I would still recommend that you set up a new DC node as though it is going to be a node, and then migrating the server data into it, but if you're not planning to add any nodes, your current server install with a DC licence is "a single node DC" and it'll carry on working fine.
Hi @Kader LOUNAS you are using a Data Center license with single node (no clustering).
