Query which Hipchat room is associated to an issue

On the JIRA issue itself there is a spot to create a new or associate to an existing HipChat room. Is there a way to store this value of the room in a custom field that we can query? I am trying to pass this HipChat room link along to Confluence and our Salesforce integration.

Hi Ryan - I don't believe there's an option to do this. If there were, it would probably be in the JIRA API. By default, if the room is created with the "Create a room" button, then it has the same name as the JIRA issue, so that might be one way to check if one exists, but definitely isn't foolproof (since someone could still "Choose a room" or there might be an existing room with the name before someone tried to connect it to the JIRA ticket)
