Project with filter stops showing tickets of that project

Gavin Nottage February 21, 2025

I have a software project for tasks called ET. I use a filter to bring in tickets from other projects to organise into sprints. When I view the backlog for sprints or the active sprint, there are no tickets for ET listed, despite there being tickets in the active sprint. I have tried changing the filter, and that view does list the tickets in the ET project. But when I go back to the backlog or active sprint view then there are no tickets in the ET project.

Could there something stopping tickets of the 'task' type being shown in the backlog or sprint view?

I have resolved this issue by creating a new board using the same filter. That works, so something was messed up with the original board, which was then deleted.

Hi @Gavin Nottage

Welcome to the community! Is it possible to share the filter. Does filter by itself pull the desired jira items? I do filter based on labels and pull items from other projects all the time.

Hi @Varsha Joshi

The filter I have is:

project in (CON, CSMED, CSPC, ET, HAR, MMIM, PCT, POCOP, PTCOL, PTGRE, PTYEL) ORDER BY project, status, created ASC

By itself this filter pulls in the jira items I want to see
