Hi,
we are a agency. Therefore we create a lot of projects.
I spend days of configuring workflow, screens and issue types. Now I want that every single project which is created have the correct settings.
I find nothing like project templates for that. Can I at least copy them or something??
Cheers,
Klaus
Gaia for JIRA will let you create JIRA project templates that include things like scheme configuration, predefined content (issues, tasks, etc.), filters, dashboards, etc. from which you will be able to create pre-configured and pre-populated projects.
You can even associate a template Confluence Space (also with predefined content) that will be automatically created alongside your JIRA Project.
As Renjith said, you can use the script runner to copy a project. Some groups in my org have a template project, then when they need a new project it is cloned from that.
It's not a complete solution, because when you want to make a change to the template, eg associate a new field, you need to make sure you also do it for existing fields. It saves a lot of time with all the initial configuring of workflows and screens schemes and so on.

I guess this is not there OOTB. See a related request here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-7020
