Problems displaying the attachment field using the test case management samle xml file

Hello, I am using the test management file I downloaded from:

to use Jira as test mngt. tool

I am going into configure screen under 'screens' for the 'Test Case Screen' and notice that the 'attchment field' is there under the filed tab. Why isn't it showing up when I say i.e. Create New Sub task (for an issue of type test case).

The point being when I run a test and find a bug I want to add a sub-task (defect) that I could attach a screenshot to.

I ran into this same issue. After troubleshooiting for a bit I found that importing the sample project disables attachments completely. On JIRA 5.0 they can be re-enabled from System > Advanced > Attachments > Edit Settings. Set the Attachment Path to Use Default Directory.
