Hello At the company I work for, there is a kanban-type Jira project managed by the team. I would like to know if I can display the items on this project board ordered by the priority field? In other projects managed by the company I was able to configure it, but in projects managed by the team I did not find this possibility. Thanks

Hello @Danilo Biazotto da Costa

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

For a Team Managed project you cannot change the field used for ordering the issues. It is locked to displaying the issues ordered by Rank.

Hello @Trudy Claspill

Thanks for the quick response.
But I still have doubts, in the case of the attached photo, note that there is a low priority item above a medium priority item, can I not display the items in order of priority?
Thanks

No, you cannot display the items based on Priority in the built-in board in a Team Managed project. They can only be displayed based on Rank in that board. You would have to manually change the Rank of the issues (by dragging and dropping the issues) to order them in a way that aligns with their Priority values.

As I mentioned in your other post

...to accomplish that you would need to create a new filter and create a new board based on that filter. In this case I am not talking about creating a custom filter within the board, but rather an entirely new and separate filter through the Jira issue searching feature.

Hi Danilo - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

One option would be to create a second board and then you can modify the filter to order by priority.
