Prefilled value in the Description field

When creating a new issue in JIRA, I want the text in the Description field to be prefilled. I wish that the person who creates the case must consider some predefined questions.

I was able to do that in server Jira. Thanks to this tutorial (link below) and just wondering why it is not possible to do the same easy way in cloud version???

First of all, i do not recommend setting default values for the purpose of "consider some predefined questions".

But that of course does not solve your question :-)

Unfortunately you cannot set a default value for description.

You can create a custom field to replace description and than set a default value for this.

Another option is to script it with scriptrunner plugin or maybe with the automation plugin.
