Hello everybody,

We've recently migrated to Jira Cloud, and I am missing an option I've been using desperately, so maybe you can help me how to reactivate it.

In my project, I want to utilise different templates per issue types. Meaning: When I hit 'Create' in the project page, I want the description field to be populated based on the issue type I've selected (Epic / Story / Bug / etc.).

So far I am struggling to find how - thanks for your help!

Hi @Sinan Gürcan

Welcome.

In you previous server/DC instance you probably had a 3rd part app or custom development for this.

In Cloud you will need a 3rd party app for this, see options here

There is no native solution for templates. As Marc said, you need an app for it. I can recommend you our app Issue Templates Agent which works exactly how you expect: you click Create button and on the Create issue dialog a predefined template is applied (automatically or you can select it from Template field).
