We ues JIRA in a small team of 20 people.
Now we have the issue that in some tickets the attached/embedded pictures cannot be loaded.
The only way to make it work is to switch to old view. Then everything is showing properly.
Is this a known issue?

May I ask, how many images exist on the issue? both as attachments and as part of comments? I ask this because we are aware that on issues with a lot of images on them (70+) there are loading problems.
ah interesting, indeed there is almost 90 attachments on this ticket.
Is there any workaround? Or you just need to avoid having to many attachments?

Sadly there is currently no workaround for this issue. I would advise a prudent limit of 50 images maximum per issue at this point in time. There is a long term plan to solve this issue. You can follow it's resolution through this ticket: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-72355
