After the latest JIRA upgrade, users are complaining of slowness in overall JIRA performance, especially with the loading of the backlog. Drag and drop of an issue from the backlog to the current sprint is now tedious as the page load is quite slow.
Another issue is regarding the search functionality in backlog. Understand Crtl+f has been replaced with 'f' , but if the searched issue is at the bottom of the screen, the user has to manually scroll down to check if the issue is available below, rather than control being taken directly to the issue.
Could you please suggest a solution.
Thanks
Sree

I agree, the UI is quite laggy since the UI improvements (Board and backlog enhancements) for the board were introduced. This really degrades the user experience.

Performance is absolutely terrible right now.
Clicking an issue to open a modal literally has multiple seconds of delay in Chrome on Windows. This is even with only 30 issues visible in the Kanban board (after quick filters)!
Talk about a real downgrade.

I mean just look how bad this is on an i7-10875H (in performance mode). It has 8 cores.
This is from DevTools -- the orange here is maxing out the CPU allocated to the tab. Here I'm clicking an issue, waiting for it to open and immediately trying to close it. Takes like 4 seconds or longer!
Dog water.
