Original Estimate is not available in Jira Automation

Hi. What I'd like to do is this below.

  1. set a number in Original Estimate in Sub-Task
  2. set the same number in a custom_field inside its Parent ticket automatically.

The Original Estimate is the one used with Time Tracking.

I'm trying to achive this by using Jira Automation but Original Estimate cannot be chosen in the option in the "Field Value Changed" action.

Is there any way to choose Original Estimate?

Or if it's not possbile to choose, is there any other way to achieve this above?

Thank you for showing me the related threads.

Although I checked them, it seems that it's not possible to achieve this.

  1. add a number (day) in Original Estimate in sub-task
  2. update a custom field in its parent ticket with the same number automatically

I saw some community post that it is only possible to select the Original Estimate if you're using the Jira Data Center version. Because in Jira Data Center version, Original Estimate is available in the drop down values.

But there is a workaround to make it possible get the original estimate and pass it to another field.

For example:

{{#=}} {{issue.subtasks.original estimate.sum}} / 3600{{/}} → this will get the total original estimate of subtask

here is another related community post about original estimate:
