@[deleted] ,

As mentioned in the error message, you can only configure Jira to send webhooks to HTTPS urls.

This was possible before but it is not anymore as  announced around one year ago. For further details and instructions please see:

In order to make this work please configure Jenkins to use HTTPS. Also, make sure to use a valid certificate since self-signed certificates are not supported as mentioned in above page:

Are self-signed SSL/TLS certificates supported?

Self-signed certificates are not supported for webhooks. The receiving web server must have a valid SSL/TLS certificate, signed by a globally trusted certificate authority.

Learn more about SSL, and how to get a free SSL/TLS certificate.

I hope this helps.

Cheers,
Dario

Hi Dario,

I have changed jenkins from http to https, still while creating webhook, entered url: "https://localhost:8080" was not accepted stating error message as "Webhooks can only use the standard 443 HTTPS port."

Kindly help.

Hi @Nisha Kadam ,

I believe you already got all the information you need in the error message itself: you can only use the standard HTTPS port (443).

Webhooks can only use the standard 443 HTTPS port.

Please also notice that self-signed certificates are not accepted.
