No longer seeing Open Epics in the Backlog View

Tim Downs June 12, 2024

Hi,

In the backlog view it is possible to switch on 2 panels Version and Epic.

As of this morning (UK) the Epics on my project are no longer displayed, but replaced with the graphic shown in the screen grab with the wording "Plan and prioritize large chunks of work. Create your first epic to start capturing and breaking down work for your team."

I already have Epics created and Stories linked to them.  This can be seen in the screen grab and also works fine in the Active Sprints view, where Epics are used for the Swim Lanes.

I have also tried creating an Epic using the Create epic button in the Epic panel, but no luck, it didn't appear in the panel.

I have checked the filter for the board and that does not filter out epics.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks.Jira-Missing-Epics.PNG

However, first thing this morning the Epics have reappeared, with no changes from myself!

Hello, Good day. I a unable to reproduce this issue on my end. I know you have verified the filter query already, could you share the filter query ?

Looks like your issue is resolved now. I don't see any reported issue on our end. Anyone could have modified the filter ?

No, the filter had remained the same.
