I may not understand the purpose of boards within a project or I don't have them setup right. I have several boards setup under a project. When I'm looking at my Sprint I assumed that it would display only the Stories or tasks for that board but the workflow is the same and the tasks displayed are the same on each board. Can someone help me understand what I'm doing wrong?

@Michael Arndt

For change the display stories & Tasks on the board, you need to configure your Board & there you should change the JQL filter.

Open the Board >> Board drop down button >> Configure >> Configuration >> general >>  then Filter Query

Hi Michael,

a board will pull in each issue returned by the board filter. So as long as you are not distinguishing issues / using different board filters for each board it's just natural for the same issues to appear on different boards. What would you like to achieve with your different boards for a single project? Maybe we can help you out.

Best, Max

I have a piece of CRM software I manage for my company and within that software there's many compents. I call the Project "Pestpac" and then include boards for the specific components of the software "Routing software", "Customer portal", "Inventory". They're so intertwined that I keep it under one project.
