Need some details on project migration

Hi,

I am looking for some information on project migration between instances. I have two JIRA instances, I want to know what happens if archived projects are migration from one instance to another. Does it cause any impact ?

Is there any documentation available on this topic, I couldn't find any.

HI @Aisha M ,

I know this is very old post, and not sure if you still have the issue. Did you solve it? If so, what was the answer? And if not, I suggest you contact Atlassian support if you have not already since no one else has responded. I just don't have the experience for this.
