Need help to replace the retirement of the JIRA Roadmap gadget

Hi,

We discovered the JIRA notice that the Jira Roadmap Gadget will no longer work after December 9, 2024.

We have been using this gadget since we started using JIRA. It has been extremely helpful for tracking and managing releases.

I tried searching the available gadget similar to the Jira Roadmap and could not find any.

Could you give us some tips on getting a similar gadget that shows the list of releases in the timeline for all projects?

There's likely nothing (except perhaps a Marketplace app) that would be similar enough to what you're used to with that gadget.

Some alternatives you might want to explore:

• Jira Plans (formerly known as Advanced Roadmaps). Enable the "Progress" pseudo-Field to see a slightly more nuanced (3-color rather than 2-color) progress bar based on Epics or higher-level types in your hierarchy. They can track by issue count or story points.
• The "Pie Chart Gadget" will take up more space, but can show 2-color results based on arbitrary JQL. Use "resolution" as the statistic type.
• I can recommend the "Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards" app (I'm not affiliated with the vendor, Appfire). It would be worth a free trial to see if it can make you happy.
